Good on you though Lindsay. grancahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07292711096860439711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-652113856727227960.post-44627802631591701652014-04-08T13:11:24.917-04:002014-04-08T13:11:24.917-04:00I am glad you enjoy it. I haven't seen Cool Whip here - there is Nestle cream in tins which you can get in the larger supermarkets so I may make a trip to get that.Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10032023667222395286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-652113856727227960.post-74618912999266401852014-04-08T13:09:17.947-04:002014-04-08T13:09:17.947-04:00I always drank my coffee with milk and no sugar, a...I always drank my coffee with milk and no sugar, and now I drink it Dominican style - strong, black with sugar. You can buy milk but it is somewhat more watery than milk in the UK. You are right though about the fresh fruits and vegetables - lovely.Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10032023667222395286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-652113856727227960.post-71757622014592719112014-04-08T08:34:43.084-04:002014-04-08T08:34:43.084-04:00I always enjoy reading your blog. Apple Crumble - my Mum used to make this when I was a kid in Oz - lovely! Being a high-cholesterol man I'm not allowed to eat ice-cream, so we have frozen Cool Whip instead - not the actual "Cool Whip" brand, but the cheapo version. Also, instead of cream we use Fat Free Half-&-Half; you may not be able to get that where you are, of course.Gordon Barlowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04525819944507167458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-652113856727227960.post-29333411602821979852014-04-07T16:10:11.245-04:002014-04-07T16:10:11.245-04:00Lindsey, it all looks delicious! This winter I stayed in PC for 3 weeks and had to get use to drinking my coffee with powdered creamer instead of fresh milk. There was no fresh milk or cream close to where we stayed. A friend told me that with the hot climate it is hard to transport the milk and keep it from spoiling. I still enjoyed my coffee – it was a minor thing and I had a wonderful vacation and lots of fresh fruits and vegies.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
