I am improving my computing skills and have put a few new buttons on this blog. You should now be able to see where people are logging on from. I am fascinated by this and spend all the time watching to see who is reading, yelling out to no one in particular things like, "And here is Kiev!", "Welcome California!", "Hola, Madrid!".
I have also put a button on which should link to an interview I had with Expat Focus - for those of you who want to know more about me, and how I ended up in the Dominican Republic. There is another Expat Focus button which will take you to my monthly column there, and other columnists which I thought you might enjoy reading too.
I am very impressed with myself!
The very sad news this week is that Tyson, our 7 year old Great Dane had to be put to sleep as he was paralysed from the waist down. He was a fabulous dog with an amazing personality and touched the hearts of all who knew him. He adored people and had so many friends, we are missing him terribly. RIP Tyson.

Lindsay, I am so sorry for your lost. I have several dogs myself and I can't imagine losing one of them. Tyson was very handsome. My hugs to you.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately apparently Great Danes don't usually live much past 7 years old, although we always hoped he would be the exception. Thanks for the hug!

He was a softie Carole. Glad you like the visitor Gizmo, if you click at the bottom of it where it says live feed there is a lot more information and it pings every time someone arrives!

ReplyDeleteThanks Puyaca. We know each other in virtual cyber space! And I suppose you could say ugly but to me he was beautiful even when he slobbered everywhere, passed wind frequently and shed hair over everything.
DeleteWhat a sad thing to see such a young dog go so soon... But then again big dogs never reach the 12-15 year mark like little dogs such a Shitzus and poodles. He looked majestic!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are right. They sat 7 is old for a Dane but he was fine apart from the fact was paralysed. I would have another in a heartbeat even though they live less time. An amazing dog with a fab personality!
